Mike Rice staff member is new Johns Hopkins head coach

Loyola assistant Josh Loeffler, once Mike Rice's Director of Basketball Operations at Rutgers, is the new head coach at Div-III Johns Hopkins. Previously, Loeffler was head coach of the Stevens Tech Ducks and was on the staff at Lafayette and Williams as well.

except for lacrosse(which i hope JHop is kicked out of when real b10 team occurs to do so) JHOp is D-3 in all other sports....they suck at sports.....good luck Josh! LOL
 
Not sure where your Hopkins comments are coming from. Their Div-III football and baseball teams are very good, often making the post season tournaments.
 
Hopkins' lacrosse team has been a powerhouse since collegiate lacrosse kicked off. The almost always make the NCAA's, even though an increasing number of power conference football schools now play lacrosse.

If Josh does anything like the last BlueJays MBB HC ( Bill Nelson) did,
he'll be at Johns Hopkins a long time.
Nelson was HC there for 31 years amassing 501 wins with 312 losses .
 
Josh is a great guy, was kind to us beyond the call when he was here.

JH got the right man for the job...wish him nothing but the best!
