MLAX on BTN2GO on the Fox Sports App Saturday @ 2:00 vs #1 Ranked Loyola

I’m done with feeling encouraged. No way we were going to be Loyola without Mullins, so I’m not upset about that. I’m absolutely not encouraged if we miss him for multiple games though. Sorry, but this team has shown too many times they are capable of stubbing their toe. We have a lot of quality OOC games left with zero room for error. I’m not doubting them at all, I just want wins. Also, can we please take Army of the schedule? They are the perfect type of team who starts off strong but beat themselves into the ground because of their style and are worn out by the end of the year. They are a totally different team in April than they are in February.

Agree with you across the board.

Good post. After watching the game again, I am encouraged. We got better even though the scoreboard doesn’t say it. We play like that against Army, sans Mullins, we win that game by a handful.

Let’s take another step this week.

We need to WIN, period.

Ohio St. getting a lot of love in the polls given their strength of schedule. #9.

We are a shell shocked fan base, 2 years ago we started 9-0 and were #1 for a week and proceeded to not make the tournament.

Angst has become a way of life in these parts and it will take sustained success to quell it.

Stepped away from the board for a couple days...usually do that after games to let emotions settle...
................
Lots of new faces at the midfield...I think both lines will get better and frankly I think line 2 had a very solid game v Loyola....39, 14, and 44 moved well, played with more confidence and seemed a bit more fluid...all three had moments where they dodged actively and got open looks...and they also created opportunity on the backside...again, do we need more...yes, and I feel it's coming...I liked those three together on Saturday...they are not small guys and keep in mind...44 is a Soph, and 14 is a RSFrosh...

Thank you for confirming what I saw and providing the missing 3rd number - 44. The second line middies just looked better and in my opinion it wasn't even close. As I mentioned in an earlier post, the first line guys simply disappeared / were swallowed up by the D. Let's hope the entire team gets their mojo back starting this Saturday.
