MSU was not the best team from B1G or B1G East last night.

I think they were so happy to at that game and thought they would be Bama just like tOSU did last year. They were just not focused. Their lucky streak that carried them to that game ran out. They should have never been there to begin with. What an embarrassment for the conference that they were shut out. Hearing the fan base scream SEC was nauseating. They earned that spot to be at that game, but they were completely out coached, out performed, and just totally dominated. I guess it's karma for Cook dissing Archie Griffin by not shaking his hand after the B1G title game, who knows.

I'm hoping tOSU and Iowa and the rest of the B1G teams playing today destroy the competition.

The games yesterday should have been some of the best games of the year and they were awful stinkers. Auburn is mediocre, Oklahoma was a fraud and MSUs lucky streak (combined with OSUs bad luck) got them to a butt whuppin. I don't blame Cook though. MSU's OL has been too high on itself and last night they got humiliated. Cook was a piñata and Saban remarked after the game how hard they made it for him. One MSU lineman got put on his ass and helmet knocked off in 1st Q. You could see that game going nowhere good early. I expect Ohio to have little problem with ND today. Iowa game might be fun. I'll enjoy today because NC is Bama's after what I saw from Auburn.

If you look at how we played with MSU, and could not stay with OSU, you would have to think the wrong team got to the big game....... MSU deserved to be there but was not the best big 10 team

I doubt seriously OSU loses like that to bama

As they say, styles make fights. You aren't going to line up in the I formation and smash mouth Alabama. MSU may be good at that, but Alabama is better at stopping it. That's the kind of football that Alabama's defense is designed to stop. That said, MSU couldn't cover anybody. They really haven't effectively covered anybody all year.

Agree. While MSU won at Columbus, I think OSU overall was the better team. MSU over rated all year. OSU was not too consistent either but at this point would have given Bama a better game.
