Paul can certainly improve. He plays an important role as a backup point guard. VERY IMPORTANT. Last year we were sunk because we didnt have one.
This. As a team we are 15-5, 6-3 and ranked in the Top 25. We are succeeding in part because our back-up PG is a solid contributor who does his job as a ball-handler and playmaker who can rebound, cover bigger players on switches and can score occasionally.

He's a true freshman who plays with control and confidence. RU doesn't need him to come in, take a lot of shots and have a double double every game. Pike is building a program where he can develop a 4* True Freshman by rotating him in when needed, and play to his strengths. Pike is building a program where he doesn't need to throw True Freshman into the fire. Pike is doing it the right way.
Paul is working very hard to develop that 3 point shot, and once this season is over he will work the entire off season to have the confidence to take and hit those open shots. Paul is going to be a very good 4 year player for this program.
Fans need to understand that Paul isn't one of those 5* one and done players but he will work hard and improve every year. What you are seeing on the floor right now is the tip of the iceberg. It's only going to get better and things are getting exciting at the RAC.
At this point, if he was a 5 star coming out of school, he would be laying for another team, Pikell and Paul M. are going to be
great together, a perfect fit in my opinion.
