Well the issue here is What NDSU did that we have yet to do, is get good blocking at the second level.
in order to beat Iowa you saw how well NDSU got to the LBs CBs and even the safeties in run blocking.
We were not able to do it against WU or NM. This how this will be won.
I expect Iowa to jump out with 2 scores and then our team must adjust to their game and grind out time and yards by ball control and runs. to do that our run game must be productive by getting sustained blocks at least the LBs

Beating Iowa is simple.
Do what NDSU did. Run the ball over and over again up the gut. And you win.

Run Martin & Hicks up the middle all day long.

To have any chance to win it, we must avoid the slow start. Yes, I'm impressed with our Coaching Staff"s fine tuning with in game adjustments, but we have to come out of the gate on fire this week. It's a must!

The point of this thread was to tell you we have not been able to do what NDSU did. We must block the LBs to make the running game productive, we have been poor at getting to the LBs let alone the safeties and CBs.

If we keep Iowa under 14 in the first quarter we have a chance. Can't get down 2 or 3 scores and expect to be in the game
