have to give the top spot to Purdue based on their recent form vs MSU's struggles in their last two games. OSU is simply the biggest surprise in the league and a win tonight over Maryland solidifies them as legit. Maryland and Michigan look like the best of the rest. Minnesota is in the midst of imploding right now but did alot of good earlier in the year so if they can regroup somewhat and at least finish 500 they still are on track for a NCAA bid. The 7-11 are hard to seperate right now. Nebraska showing signs but can they be consistent. Indiana is up and down for sure. Northwestern trying to right their ways, Penn State seems to be underacheiving and RU has been brutalized by the schedule. Wisconsin and Illinois look like a step below the others while Iowa has clearly stamped themselves as the bottom feeder of the Big 10

I think Michigan is a top 3 team because of their inside /outside scoring balance .They should have defeated Purdue.

agree with your NCAA ranking purposes I really think the Big 10 is locked into 5 but will only get one more out of the next grouping..who will it be. The Big 10 rpis are really bad....MSU I think is 24!
