Clemson is what you think of a typical college town. Of course it was packed with people for the #1 team in the nation. Lots of tents and TVs hooked up via Direct TV. I really did not see any college kids aside from my nephew and his friends at the tailgates.
For an 80,000 seat stadium it was quieter than Rutgers stadium at its loudest. Probably due to Wake Forest being the opponent and it was 20-0 after one quarter.
During halftime they had a long wreath handing ceremony in which the whole stadium was silent for 5 minutes. Well, except for a party outside the stadium blasting the hokey pokey.
The most exciting 45 seconds in college football is all hype but those players do catch air running down that hill.
They had four speakers facing the student section so they could coordinate cheers and chants. They even sang happy birthday to Dabo which got a wave from him.
They did the wave during the 3rd quarter but did it with cell phone lights.
People streamed out at the start of the 4th quarter. Was not much of a game.
