My hatred runneth over

The game was over. Look at the video again and you can read Joe's lips when he said, "what happened"? He wasn't going pull MM to the sideline and chew him out when the game was over. But, I willing to bet that MM heard it from Joe after the game.

I'll never stick up for a coach who says bull shit to another coach. It was totally out of line on Joe's part. However, I don't know what Graber said to him, but I do know that Joe did not want that play to be a pass in order to run up the score. MM changed the play on his own, that is a fact.

You don't know that for a fact, because it is not a fact. There was plenty of time for Paterno to voice his displeasure with his QB. saw the video. It is on Youtube. The game was not over. There was :58 seconds left in the game after PSU scored that TD. Enough time that Rutgers had to go back on offense.

Why do you think Keith jackson said the play "would be discussed this week, maybe a lot?"
Paterno had chewed out players on the sideline for a lot less than that......and you know it... if you are really a Penn State fan.

He was not the least bit up upset. If he really meant to run the clock out and one of his players didn't obey him he would have gone ballistic, just like he did on Graber for challenging him when he said bullshit."

That was one of the most classless moves I've ever seen a coach pull in college football...or any sport for that matter.

You say you don't know what Graber said to make Paterno say "ah bullshit?"
Well, it's right on the tape. Graber said "I didn't think you played that way."

How do you respondt, now that you know the facts?

And please recall who was the qb who seemed to check off or call a different play that Joe may have wanted. Wonder what this person is going today following his "involvement" or knowledge of Sandusky.

PSU20, That's not a fact that's an assumption. An assumption looking through blue covered lenses,

Not sticking up for Joe but just wanted to chime in so you can get your facts straight. I know, and saw that TD pass that was running up the score when there was no need to. As soon as MM threw that TD pass, Joe said, "what happened" meaning that he Did Not want that play called. MM changed the play on his own, not Joe.

Joe stayed way too long but I never saw him run up the score on anyone. The reason he said "bull shit" to Graber was because he was unaware, and did not want the pass play called.

Yes, I saw that too. But what happened can mean a lot of things such as I didn't see the play and what just happened? In any event the exchange I am referring to was during the handshake after the game was over where Graber basically asked WTF? and Paterno told him to go f*ck himself.

Also, the buck stops with the head coach. If he had a rogue offensive coordinator or QB, that is still on Paterno. Also let's not forget that the QB who threw the pass was the same QB who saw a grown man raping a kid in the Penn State shower and did nothing but instead went home and asked his Dad what should he do?

So funny. Hilarious that I am just not good enough to ever post on this board again. Buh-bye!

funny, and when you say Penn State, you just shake your head in disgust, at what their shameful and disgraced head coach hid from the world in order to protect their cult.

Go ahead. Try it. It's sad.

That's all part of the success with honor thing that JoePa preached.

Tailgating at Penn State whiteout

(and no its not KKK before i'm accused)

You know what's hysterical?

No matter how much a PSU fan tries to insult Rutgers, all we have to do is remind them what a POS Paterno turned out to be, with him trying to hide a child molestation scandal..... and our insults will always win over theirs.

guys you can't argue with a cult. If you try to insult their deity they will never say "yup you're right". All we can do is keep reminding the rest of the world that they are brainwashed mindless sheep.

If Joe Pa was really incensed by McDouchebag's TD pass, he could have accepted the off-sides penalty and taken the TD off of the board. He did not. Penn State was running up the score, period. They were likely doing so because the year before they split the national championship with Nebraska (actually Nebraska got the nod in the AP poll and was the lone recognized national champion) and they felt they needed to score as many points as possible as to not have a repeat of that. So Joe Pa ran it up on poor little Rutgers...it is what it is. Why do people think he was above doing this? Oh that's right, because it's blind hero worship.

Paterno hid behind that "at Penn st we do things the right way" crap for decades. Many of us knew that he was a slimeball well before the Sandusky scandal even came to light. It's good that outside of pennsyltucky that he will always be associated with covering up a child molestation scandal to benefit football. Meanwhile State Penners will continue to worship their deity and drink Paterno beer.

I don't get this thread's premise.

Ignore Ole Miss' violations because some random Penn State fan on Twitter commented on them?

It's so funny that Paterno even had his own PSU cult fooled. They all worshipped him. He didn't care about them. He just cared about his own legacy.

The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world (Penn Staters) he didn't exist.

The premise is that State Penn fans have no damn business criticizing other schools for underhanded tactics, when their school's transgressions dwarf any schools transgressions in the history of college sports. They should keep their hypocritical mouths shut and be happy that the NCAA is spineless.

I don't understand the big deal.

Do you think that Rutgers fans should keep their mouths shut after the Kyle Flood mess?

Are you really trying to compare the Kyle Flood 'mess' with what went down at State Penn? Really?

Oh Patrick, and so you go on and on and on. You know, there are meds available for people like you. Your head must be exploding!!

Sad little man. There's a whole life to be lived out there, go get some of it.

It had nothing to do with running up the score. It had everything to do with covering the spread.Remember that roar from the upper deck after the play?A lot of people up there had their trip paid for as a result of the play. The previous year,Paterno was excoriated for letting Indiana get a -no pun intended- back door cover.

you're right. While my scorn for state penn knows no bounds, I don't think they're the KKK ! They are a different sort of cult.
The cult of Joe is a different sort of cult then the KKK,.
The cult of Joe mission is protecting that pervert protector and making his minions look like they are being falsely accused of covering up for a child molester to protect the PSU FB program on orders from Joe the Enabler.
Hell you could go over to the BWI site and find some of the cult members arguing that Sandusky was innocent . They are some sick people that totally disgust those of us who beleive a cild should be protected from harm.
Not protect those who protected a person that harmed children because it might hurt their FB program like the FB HC ,AD,VP in charge of Campus police and the President of Penn St University did.

The cult is still denying a cover up happened and now trying to claim everyone who protected Sandusky are innocent of being involved in covering up child molestation by their Coach Emeritus .

So what is your point? Do you want to know the truth surrounding another poster that shot from the hip making up an untruth just to satisfy a need.

Now you are saying that MM saw an anal rape and did nothing about it. With that kind of statement, then Joe, Spanier, Curley, and Shultz are totally innocent and the case is closed. Your poster brought up the "running up the score by Joe" I just posted the truth as to what really happened. When you are corrected to show that a post was totally inaccurate, to just can handle the truth.

I could give shit less about Joe, Spanier, Curley, or Shultz or whatever happens to them. Your poster brought up a "myth" about Joe running up the score and I proved him wrong. Then, when you have no positive response, you go off on a tangent about a totally different subject. If you can not stick to the facts, don't respond. Some people just can not accept facts that substantiate the truth.

Actually the KKK wouldn't be too far off. The student section at a PSU football game resembles a klan rally with the lack of diversity.

Hey, that's an exaggeration. PSU created one of those panorama thingies at their 2015 "white-out" game, and among the 107K in attendance, I did count 3 people of color. Thinking of it, none of them were in the student section, so there wasn't any hyperbole there, my bad BoogieKnight, I apologize!

Ah, yes, the faithful are coming out in full force to defend their "honor"!

Yes all the pervert protectors are innocent because a GA didn't do the honorable thing and stop a child molestation in progress.
He just told Joe who made sure nobody did a thing to bring Coach Emeritus to justice.

Strange that Penn St handed out that Coach Emeritus status to someone who was accused of child abuse (but not brought to trial) and retired from the PSU DC position after everything had time to die down and no one would suspect the child abuse accusation had anything to do with that retirement.
Also kept the pervert as Coach Emeritus with an office on campus, just told the scumbag not to bring his victims on campus anymore after the pervert was caught molesting a child in the Penn St locker-room shower.

You have it all wrong. It was a giant conspiracy to bring down Penn State football out of jealousy. Everyone was in on it. Tom Corbett, The NCAA, the Big Ten, the PAC 12, the SEC, ESPN, the White House, the FBI, the CIA, Area 51, The Vatican, Vladimir Putin...you name it. They all wanted Penn State Football and Joe Paterno brought to its knees. Had absolutely nothing to due with the institutional failure that was the Sandusky sex crimes on Penn State's campus . Nope, people were just pissed at Joe's 409 wins. People had nothing better to do with their time then pick on Penn State. If you cannot see this grand conspiracy that took place, you are not thinking for yourself. You are just a lemming believing what the media spoon feeds you.

You proved absolutely nothing about JoePa's obvious unwillingness to take his QB to task for unnecessarily running up the score, nor his apparent willingness to curse out a fellow head coach during a post-game handshake. And PSU's fan base has proven nothing about their relative lack of concern, let alone at times sick and twisted defenses, of the perpetrators and enablers of the child-abuse scandal that occurred at their otherwise holier-than-though college football program.

Dude it was over 20 years ago, GET OVER IT. Teams have run up scores before and they'll do it again. Don't act like if Sep 2014 if RU was up on PSU that you wouldn't have wanted RU to run up the score on PSU.

As for the Sandusky thing, that has run its course as well. Most of the idiots you see on BWI are moron Philadelphia sports fans who have never even been to state college let alone attended penn state. Real fans/alumni hate what happened and are glad Sandusky is behind bars.

Every college has things happen that they are not proud of and please do not for a minute sit there and act like Rutgers has not had one embarrassment/disappointment after another (mike rice, Ray rice, Dharun Ravi, Nadir Barnwell, Kyle Flood, the entire secondary)

My main point of this post is this... Are you all just yelling at eachother just for the sake of yelling or is there a purpose to all this crap? Obviously penn state fans think their team is better and Rutgers fans think their program is better. Ok got it, now why yell and act like a bunch of school children?

Exactly if the roles were reversed, people don't care. I hate when people complain just for the sake of complaining. PatrickRU, if a tweet by a fan got you so upset that ur pouting for days, might I suggest staying off Twitter, u obviously can't handle it

Hey this is America 2016 . Anybody you like (especially with $$$ behind them) can get away with anything. I'll bet everyone in State College will vote for Hillary this fall.
