It was nice to see Myles Johnson back at the RAC! I hope he becomes successful in whatever field he pursues! Bright future for the young man. Key component of getting us back to the NCAAs, I wish he stayed 1 more year instead of going to UCLA.

I think Myles was eligible to play this year if he chose to. A terrific young man and - a true scholar athlete.

Myles got a really loud and lengthy ovation. Extremely well deserved. Such a favorite of ours. And he looks great.

It is clear that R fans and alums hold Myles in such high regard. Myles Johnson is a Scarlet Knight forever!!

It was so great to see Myles back at the RAC and get that reception from the fans. I've had several favorite players over the years and he is definitely one of them. I also get the sense that he really enjoyed his time at Rutgers and is a "Rutgers Man" forever.

MJ will remembered as one of the better RU players.

I still don’t like it that he didn’t play one more season at Rutgers
Agreed, always respect Myles but the ucla transfer was very disappointing. I think he would've been better off staying here for his final year, take a couple grad courses, then transfer to Stanford after his playing days were over.

Better off in what way? I don't believe he has any Pro aspirations so not as far as basketball is concerned.

I was sorry he left, but the silver lining is that Cliff developed more quickly.
In a warped and unexpected way, Myles leaving may have helped Rutgers, by getting Cliff more experience, much sooner than he would have, if Myles was here. Please don't take this as a dis to Myles. I thought his leaving would hurt Rutgers. I'm just not sure it did, for the reasons I noted.

Never seen a guy set a more brutal screen than Myles. Guy absolutely demolished guys at the top of the key with his ass.

Fair, but I think we would've seen a lot of 2-headed monster lineups compared to when Cliff was a frosh. Also Cliff could've benefited from going against Myles in practice another year. We'll never know of course, but I would definitely have wanted MJ in an RU uni last year.

Nitpicking here, but why do you keep referring to Myles as MM? It’s Myles Johnson, not Montez Mathis.

I notice your "better off" calculation doesn't include him being 30 minutes away from his family instead of a 6 hour plane ride. I'm pretty sure that helped him feel better off.

Myles was, and is, one of my all-time RU favorites. -He brought it every game and always gave everything he had.

A true Rutgers Man and someone who will be a Loyal Son and part of the Rutgers family forever.

Thank you, Myles, for what you did here on the court...and off. Your future is beyond bright, no matter what you might decide to do with your myriad intellectual and athletic gifts.

I’m sure he could’ve transfered to Stanford as well. Seems to have ended up where he wanted anyways

Like the 76 team …Myles is Part of the gang that Will be fondly remembered at the one who put Rutgers basketball back on the map …
