Brackets just came out. 6 out of the 10 wrestlers got seeds.

125: US McCabe v 16 Oliver IND
133: 16 Giraldo v US Kraisser CAMP
141: 4 Ashnault v US Husdon HOF
149: US Dippery v 16 Lugo EDIN
157: 9 Lewis v US Atkinson UVA
165: 7 Perrotti v US Przybysz APP
174: US Bakuckas v 6 Hammond CSUB
184: 15 Gravina v Ellingwood CMU
197: US Hrymack v 2 Cox MIZZ
285: 12 Smith v US Larson OU

Although I didn't think they would, they obviously counted the defaults in the B1G against him. I thought they usually looked past that stuff. Also disappointed Ashnault got a 4th seed. I thought winning the B1G he would at least get a top 3 seed. Every other weight class winner from the B1G got a top 2 seed.

Was at a very intense and spirited practice today and the boys got after it. The boys and coaches don't care about seedlings and opponents as you have to go through everyone to win it. AP working hard to get ready. Kids are focused. No excuses.

What was the word on his injury? Is it going to affect his run at an AA? Thanks for any info that you are allowed to divulge.

Let's be serious guys, what good does it do for Perrotti if we know his injury status? If anything, it just helps his opponents one way or the other in preparation.

I know I'm being very hypocritical as I was wondering myself if he could just 'go,' and for me, if he can 'go,' I'm good.

I think that Anthony Ashnault can be an NCAA Champion this year if he wrestles to his ability! With that being said I think the # 4 seed was the correct one. Heil has only 1 loss to Ward and has been #1 practically all year, McKenna has 2 losses to Heil, and Jack has a 5-2 decision over AA at Midlands. Like Wngarbarini said if you have your sights set on the title the seed does not matter much. AA has his sights set on the title! Good luck RU!

Didn't know it was a national security secret. I'm sure that everyone and anyone in his weight class knows by now that he defaulted out of the B1G tournament with a rib injury. What do you think this is like the Karate Kid movie and Johnnie's going to sweep the leg.[eyeroll]

Winners of the 4th round of wrestlebacks, I believe guarantees top 8; winners of 5th round guarantees top 6.
