I would figure 125, 141 and 189 may not have starters wrestling.
Gravina finger needs to heal...get better for B10......he was holding hand behind him the last 2 periods.

Billy Smith wrestled really tough last night.Was sharp on his shots ,and pretty physical.By the way,wasn't that Perotti's dad getting pissed off? I love the Soprano comment,that douche commentator made.Those two where clueless idiots about wrestling.Typical Midwestern morons,thinking everything in NJ is mafia and Soprano types, every other house on the block.
I heard the soprano comment. I also couldn't believe that they didn't notice Gravina was wrestling with one arm. They made it sound like the Indiana kid was putting up a great fight and working his way back into the match. Gravina could have taken him down several times in the third period but after getting behind him would let him go because he was not able to use both hands. Someone needs to explain the difference between a takedown and reversal to them. Great job by Rutgers as a team.
I truly believe they didn't even know anything about the sport..period.I was just laughing when Hyrmack got two for a takedown and the commentator was trying to finish a comment about it,without knowing what move it was.He was stuttering like a prison inmate,confronted in the jail showers...lol.
It was a train wreck of a listen. But at least they acknowledged we were a superior team. Hoping the Boiler announcers are better.
Purdue lost to Michigan last night 30-11. They lost decisively at 125 and 133. Sabitello won a major at 141 and looked great. I know AA shut him out 10-0 at Midlands but this won't be easy tomorrow. Pantaleo hammered at 149 and Welch beat Michigans back up at 157 as Murphy did not wrestle. Sutton had Welch beat until the last few seconds when Welch got two and won 7-6. The last 4 were romps for Michigan. The Purdue 285 lost by injury default to Coon so it will be interesting to see if he wrestles tomorrow
Whenever you look at the logo and it says Big10 studentU....the announcing is going to be awful. Typically they are student announcers who do not know the sport.
The most famous match involved Nebraska and when the Nebraska coach held up his fist toward the ref(he was begging for a stall call), the announcer said "the coach is calling for an illegal fist to the back penalty". It was very funny.
Gravina luckily only dislocation. No fracture. Tough SOB. And that was his father who got tossed. He's a good guy.
This is a HUGE match today!!! Chance to finish 5-4 in B1G slate!!! When we first got in, who imagined us having a chance at 5-4 2nd year in with 2 upset losses!!
Agree. The optics of completing the season with a .500+ in conference record is an incredible stat at this point in the program's B1G career even with the Minn and Wisky results. Let's close this out and work on getting our boys on the podium.
