Why do we care if Illinois beats NW?

Because we beat Illinois....the higher they stay in the NET, the better it is for us. Don’t need Illinois getting a ‘bad loss.’

The fact that UConn is in 4th place in the Big East playing for most of the season without their best player is yet another sign of the downturn of the Big East. UConn finished 5th in the AAC last year with a 10-8 record. I dont think they deserve more than 4 teams.

Watched the Big East several times this year. The glaring weakness of that conference is defensive intensity - just not close to what you see in the B1G on a nightly basis - lots of easy shots in every game I have watched.

SHU plays defense. St. Johns presses. UConn plays decent D. I don't think they are that bad.
