Wow!!! Nevada wins after down 22. Nice that mid majors get the chance. Quadrants and RPI be damned.
See what happens when you reward excellence!!

Steel cage match defense and Neanderthal half court offense isn't as effective as it used to be.

What a shocking win! I was watching it until they had gotten down by about 20 points. Then, I watched them scratch and claw their way back as I watched another game. I couldn't believe they did what they did. Their ONLY lead was the last lead. And hey, isn't that all that matters? What a great comeback and win. Good for them. They're in the Sweet 16.

Nevada's RPI was 19. They were like a 4 or 5 seed till their late season slippage. They have transfers from major conference teams across their roster.

Yet San Diego State had to get in and Boise was ignored. UMBC has the greatest upset in history and Vermont is ignored. Poor MTSU, WKU and ODU. South Dakota just as good good as South Dakota State. Just think if some of these schools had a legitimate chance. St. Bonnie in a play in game. Penn as a 16 seed? System is rigged and small schools still making tourney must see TV. Think NCAA would learn their lesson. Nah.

Nevada as a 7 seed won two toss-up close games. Well, big conference Syracuse as an 11 seed, Kansas State as 9 seed, Florida State as 9 seed, Texas A&M as 7 seed did the same thing or better. These are all teams that would drop out of tournament with the inclusion of those squads.

I could see him landing a big job from this kind of like when Andy Enfield rode the tourney wave from FGCU to USC a few years ago.

Musselman has been this year's hot coach for three years. He's never won fewer than 24 games at Nevada.

His f’bombathon caught on national TV has got to give some schools pause. Certainly has a limited vocabulary!

Also saw part of the Nevada post game locker room celebration and Musselman came in and ripped off his shirt (not wearing a tshirt) before getting doused by members of his team. Interesting look.

He has come a long way since being call Eric Muscle-Head by one of his players in the NBA.

You are joking/being sarcastic right?

They just upset Texas and he had just run into the locker room to celebrate with his players. Shame on CBS for not having its microphone on a delay. It was in the locker room post game. That's how players and coaches talk in a locker room after big wins and sometimes after elimination defeats.

It's not like he walked up to a microphone, looked in the camera and shouted a profanity.
