New Director of Recruiting Operations

He better do something. He's running out of time.
"Now Rutgers enters a crucial Year 4 under Schiano as it tries to climb from the bottom of the Big Ten standings. The Scarlet Knights open their 2023 campaign with three consecutive home games against Northwestern, Temple and Virginia Tech"

3-0 or bust (OK, 2-1 or bust).

I’d be happy to see significant signs of progress on the offensive side of the ball.

Honestly 1-2 would be an improvement. And that's really not enough.

Big impactful hire. Was an intern for the Detroit Lions last year( I’m sure they’re going to miss her) Great find by Greg. Would have preferred a “Jersey Girl” that knows the terrain a little but we have to trust Greg’s eye for talent

Recruiting locally has never given us sustained success. We’re in the Big Ten. Get the best players. If they are from NJ, fine. But that shouldn’t drive our recruiting.

yep.. recruit NATION-WIDE.. no doubt there are some 4-5 stars we never heard of because of where they grew up who might find playing in the Big Ten close to NYC and the Atlantic ocean to be appealing.

I believe she doesn't personal recruit, just gets everything in place to make it easier for the recruiters to go out there and get someone .
Also Kayli is not being hired to be the Director of Recruiting Assistant Director position
From Scoop link
>Sources tell FootballScoop that Kayli Johnson is headed to New Jersey after accepting the assistant director of recruiting operations for Rutgers University football.<
