Our one win over a Div. 1 school looks a hell of a lot better than it did when we played. The lobos finished the regular season at 8-4 (6-2)! I remember thinking that this game should be pretty easy since they were such a lousy football program. Who knew this would be the last win.

We were very fortunate that when we played them their All Conference RB was out of the game as was their best defensive player - their stud Middle LB.
Was our best offensive performance in a FBS game this year.

Ash inherited a mess. It will take at least 7 years for Ash to start making a dent. But he is moving the program in the right direction. By 2025 we should be competitive with UNM (which is the premiere College Football program in all of New Mexico).

People just need to have patience.

7 years ? You are being too gracious. He needs at least 10 years to build a staff that will be competitive.
