I assume you guys know that Purdue was 2-10 last season, at the bottom of the relatively weak Western Division?
What a stupid post.
Congrats for adding nothing to this thread except stupidity.

We've got Trey Sneed coming to campus this weekend. Don't forget Desmon Peoples is coming back too. We also have Charles Snorweah. Hoping the staff can make good use of Justin Goodwin. For the short term he doesn't need to work miracles here given the presence of Martin and Hicks. I would emphasize pass blocking, ball security, and ability to catch the ball out of the back field to both. I am hoping he is a notable addition on the recruiting front.

The rotation did not work. Will be interesting to see what they do with Desmon Peoples. He had a great game against tOSU in 2014, 15 carries, 83 yards (5.5 ypc) and 2 TDs. He was injured late in the 2014 season. Probably Goodwin will be moved to DB.Not advocate of trying to play more than 2 backs in a regular rotation. I think we saw too much 3 and 4 back rotations last year. I hope we are in a position to redshirt Sneed and I would not be surprise to see one back (not Hicks!) moved to DB. Of course I assume a transfer is also a possibility.

Yes. Against Michigan and Ohio State in 2014, he had 4 receptions for 89 yards. Not bad for a "running back."Desmon Peoples may find a whole new level of success in Mehringer's offense - he just wasn't designed to run between the tackles in a bunched formation.
I heard that to ---- 2 or 3 days ago.EJ Barthel to Temple I heard
I hope he realizes next yr is that staffs last..I heard that to ---- 2 or 3 days ago.

Tangible confirmation 22 minutes ago!!!Since there's not been any tangible confirmations yet, I found this worth posting...
He hasn't changed the background yet....but he took Purdue out of the bio.....and followed RUAthletics.

Duggan said hire won't be made official for a bit, and RU may promote an assistant just for the week so they can have 9 recruiters on the road.
Didn't say what the holdup was..
The article I linked above said this:"FootballScoop.com and a Purdue-based Rivals.com reported the hire Friday, but a source told Gannett New Jersey that the hire was not made until Sunday."Maybe Purdue needs to hold him to his contract thru next week. Hazell could really be screwed here.
just adhered to the pre-ordained sequence
Well, maybe we would have kept more WRs if this that was announced earlier.o_O

No slight intended against Zak Kuhr. Whatever the coaches do is great, I trust in Ash.
Actually, Williams coached WR's early on slightly more than he did RB's - check his bio.Kuhr and Williams have coached both positions. Kuhr close to 50/50, Williams mostly RB but played WR in college. Seems unusual they'd switch so soon.

My first thought was the opposite - maybe the switch was made because we lost so many WR recruits.
