We lost bad last night and were outplayed in all aspects of the game. The only excuse is we were undermanned with a 1st time head caoch in a hostile environment. So now we have lost 2 games we thought we had a chance to win.

Kansas is a weaker team that we should beat if fully manned. A loss next week, especially a bad loss will tell us we are a cellar dwellar this year.

The remaining winnable games are Kansas, Indiana, Army, and Maryland.
Nebraska, Wisconsin, Mich St, Ohio St, and probably Michigan are unlikely the way the team has been playing.

By all accounts, Kansas is terrible. They may well be Howard-like terrible. Beating them, although certainly better than losing, will tell us very little about this team or the rest of the season,
We will be entering the really tough part of the season after next week. Win or lose, we will be looking at match ups that will be really stacked against us. By the time we see Army, things could be pretty much over for us due to discontent, injuries and who knows what else. I can see this season as being one of the worst in a very long time.

I'm sorry but what are the indications that any FBS level team is beatable...we lost to Wazzu and TTFP both of whom may not even make a bowl game.

Kansas and Army should be wins. Maryland and Indiana , RU will be small underdogs, rest of season.... big underdogs. If we split w Maryland and Indiana RU most likely winds up 4-8. Given the arrests, perception of lack of discipline (fair or not), and the email/ meeting the Prof.... I don't see how Flood survives. His buyout isn't that big. I hope I'm wrong and we wind up 6-6 and in a Bowl, but not looking that way at all today.

Kansas is not an FBS team. They are operating with less scholarship players than many FCS teams right now. There is no way RU should lose this game no matter what happens this week.

Army should also be a win because they are terrible. People getv worked up because they run the ball but that is a scheme thing. It is a game where RU will NOT get beat in the trenches which is their issue.

Everybody else should be a loss. But there will probably be a win in there somewhete because that's how college football goes. So 4 wins with 2 of them against FCS opponents and one against Army. Of course some on here will then say Flood will have almost beentirely .500 in his first 2 years in the B1G. You guys know who you are lol.

We have to play the AP #1 and #2 teams in the next few weeks...its going to be an absolute blood bath. There might be a 100 point differential in those two games combined.

We will learn little about ourselves against Kansas. Even if we knock the stuffing out of them I don't think it provides much of an indicator for the rest of the year. I can't imagine losing next weeks game which probably not a good thing.

I don't care if we win 72-0 on Saturday it won't mean a damn thing in regards to the final 8 games.

We already know what we need to know. And have known for a while. Kansas game won't tell anything we didn't know. It may fool some people until osu and msu. Complete embarrassment ahead.

Kansas wont be an easy game. Their defense sucks, but RUs offense sucks. It looks like they might be able to score especially on a bad defense like RUs. Will RU play aggressively enough on offense to win. That's what it comes down to. If it they play scared again, its a down to the wire close game

If you go by Franklin standards we probably have les scholarship players than PSU did last year. That being said, go home and come back next sept.

uhhh....we already know what kind of team we are, and that's a 3-5 win team.

after the arrests we are probably down 5 or so schollies to around 80.

On the bus ride back to our hotel last night another RU fan actually told me he thought we would beat Nebraska. I wonder if he is on this board.

Probably saw that they were down big, early, to Miami and missed the comeback (granted, they still lost..). Huskers will have their way with us, easily, once again.

By halftime . . .

Kansas had 2 weeks to prepare, and should be pumped . . . I am sure they think this is a winnable game for them. Just can't see us losing, but then again . . . we've seen WTF games before.

There is absolutely no way we win 5 more games with what we fielded last night.
The key is not to field a team like Saturday night again this season. After the Temple game, many PSU fans thought they wouldn't win more than five games. After its win Saturday night over RU, they think they're going to win at least nine.

Simply, you can't base a complete season on one ugly game in the rain in Crappy Valley.
