Next year with Cam and Griffiths

Battle seemed to hang in the air forever. And that “Get Ready for Battle” poster with John standing on a tank - I think teammate and Rhodes Scholar finalist Steve Perry worked that concept.
Steve Perry stands out to me as the best instinctual 6‘6“ shot blocker I have seen at RU, including better than Rashod Kent.

An aggressive zone…It doesn’t have to be a stand there and flap your arms zone.
He would be one of the most athletic players on the team this year. Why would anyone think he'd have so much trouble adapting defensively (more than any other FR)? He was fine defensively in the EYBL and he guards guys all over the floor on his HS team.

Griffiths maybe a great high school player, but before we anoint him as a great Rutgers player, let's see him play in college.
Did you watch him play? He can play D, but you wouldn’t know that. And do you think Pike is heavily recruiting a player that can’t play D?? Your post is dumb.

Go take a lap.

So do people see Paul AND Cliff definitely returning next season?
I can see Paul returning. I’m sure he realizes the potential for great things happening again next year. I’m sure Cliff will listen to NBA. I don’t think he’s ready for NBA but they draft on potential

Feel free to skip over all threads about recruits and wait to comment on them until they play in college

The rest of us will post about our player evaluations and predictions, bc... its a message board and that's what it's for

I believe Billet is still at CBA where he started.
Billet is varsity head coach at CBA. My kid plays there on the freshman team. When I saw him the first time I gave him a hug and thanked him for the Georgetown game which I was at MSG for. He had a good laugh at that.
