NFL Camp RU Updates

* Seen as a player to watch after a year on the practice squad, Quron Pratt has struggled a bit at Eagles camp. I've read about at least two passes go off his hands this week that ended up as INTs. Mind you, he's probably working mostly with Barkley and Tebow, so it's tough when the passes aren't, well, good. Pratt is around 8th on the WR depth chart right now. The top 5 are pretty much set barring a surprise (Matthews/Agholor/Huff/Cooper/Austin), but there may or may not be a 6th spot.

Brandon Coleman:

"Wide receiver battle: Brandon Coleman has consistently looked good. It’s too early to call the battle at wide receiver, but he’s taking advantage of these early practices and is separating himself from the pack. He knows how to use his body to get open and runs good routes."

"Coleman has been one of the stars of the summer, so I’m practically ready to write his name in ink. The next question is whether he’ll vault ahead of Toon into the No. 3 job."

"I came very close to keeping Josh Morgan as a sixth receiver after watching him catch a ton of passes in organized team activities and minicamp. But he doesn’t have the all-important "upside" of guys like Coleman and Jones -- two undrafted rookies from 2014. Coleman’s massive size (6-foot-6, 225) makes him the most intriguing roster contender since he could develop into a red-zone monster. Coleman seemed to be playing faster and more at ease this summer after struggling last summer -- a good sign that he’s on the rise."

Kenny Britt:

"Speaking of the wide receiver, he also said on Thursday that there was no doubt he wanted to re-sign with the Rams as a free agent in the offseason. “Not in my mind,” he said. “Not in my family’s mind, my wife’s mind. I knew where I wanted to be all along coming out of the season.” A significant part of the reason why is Britt’s relationship with Fisher. The wideout has had his most successful seasons while playing for the head coach, which Britt said is no coincidence. “There’s definitely something to that because Fisher is a guy who will let you be yourself in the locker room, on the field, and off the field,” Britt said. “You want to be comfortable with being yourself instead of being up tight and watching what you have to say and what you have to do.”

I've read a few of the practice updates and he's also caught a couple of balls, but I don't think he has a spot on their roster. Most of the Eagles beat writers are predicting Seyi Ajirotutu will get the 6th WR spot because he's a special teams wizard.
