Please stop. Please. You think Naz only has two big ten offers?? Any one of those top 60 kids has their choice of schools save the Kentucky and Dukes of the world. If you don't know the difference between these guys and Mensah I don't know what to tell you.

What are people trying to say here? Stars don't matter? Other offers don't matter? We are recruiting great? I swear this will be the last time I post this. If we don't recruit consistently in the top 150 year in and year out we will never win. Period. Stop. It is not an opinion. It is a fact. I have 20 plus years of evidence across multiple different coaches to back me up.

There are facts,alternate facts and what fans want to believe which is wishful thinking.

And where exactly did anyone say we don't need top 150 players over time to succeed? That's common sense. I've been on record as saying 2018 and 2019 are the key years for Rutgers to make the next jump in their talent level....the first 4 star commit is a great start.

This little discussion was about looking at offer lists as the only gauge to determine if someone is a Big 10 caliber player. There are plenty diamonds in the rough out there as evidenced by the large number of Mid-Major players who were overlooked that transfer up to P5 programs or the guys with a ton of P5 offers that don't cut it and transfer down to mid-Major. There are no facts about Geo Baker or Mensah being Big 10 caliber until they get on campus and practice...then play.

Extensive scouting and diligently watching players play in real games is what the coaches at Rutgers need to do to find good players until they hit it big in recruiting for 2018 and beyond......not being overly concerned with an offer list.
