I know many of you don't believe NIL is the right thing for college athletics, but wondering if anyone has changed their mind or is considering making a contribution to a NIL fund even though you disagree with the idea of compensating college athletes.
For example, I'm planning on increasing my contribution simply because I'm enjoying the games and the results of this season and would like to contribute to keep things going. Also, would like avoid losing players like
Monangai/Melton and attract talented athletes that can help this program achieve higher level of success (Baileys and Harpers of the world).
I believe athletes should be compensated by their NIL and not by the fanbase but it seems the current environment is demanding that we step in so we can keep our players and attract others.
Anyway, just wondering...
