Is it that big of an event?

And this is the lead picture in each story:

Hurleyed again!

Apparently things are going alright at RU and they don't have a lot of negative stuff to write about, so they are rubbing it in that we didn't get him. In a weird way maybe it is a good thing that they have to stretch this far for a negative story.

. We continue to get carried
away by a bunch of journalism school nerds who never played a sport besides ping pong. A guy at work reads the hideously overpriced rag version of nj.com . I take it home and use it as cat litter I am happy for Darby and his family .Let it be.

It's their job to cover NJ sports. That's more than just Rutgers....(May to July are the slowest, right?). And when it's a slow time of year, there's no reason to get butthurt.

As much as they can annoy at times, They are not Rutgers media.com. They are Nj.com, the kid comes from NJ. If you don't want to read an article don't click. Coincidently your thread makes it 4-threads here.....so we seem to have them beat .

Really, i guess my links must be wrong, get over it people a recruit picked ASU, NJ.com wrote one article on the Rutgers link saying he went to ASU, big deal.....get over. People here can find the most simple things to whine about...I love it when people just make $hit up.

Like I said we have four threads in this site alone, so maybe the reason why he chose ASU is actually news...

So a kid who clearly wants to experience what it's like living in a different state when he choose Iowa has choosen to go out of state and attend ASU. Wow. This is definitely news worthy!

Frank Darby, is Who?
ASU, is Where?
NJ.com, is What?
You folks are feeding the rag and these type of articles by looking at any ledger crap.

He's leaving nj and will never play in front of friends and family on a regular basis. We will never see him as an opponent.....that's wonderful.

Your links are different than my links
Three stories all under Rutgers football.
http://www.nj.com/rutgersfootball/

No whining. Just pointing out the overkill under Rutgers football. But NJ.com needs clicks, so the separate stories make sense from that perspective. Nothing against Frank Darby, but it was not like he was the most highly recruited NJ player that merited multiple stories. I don't think the APP/Dunleavy ran a single story on this.

And only see 2 Darby threads here. This one and one other one.

I think people regularly discuss why a recruit goes elsewhere, facilities, coach can't close, he wants to get away from nj, coach has no ties to nj, partridge sucks, partridge is great, ej is blah blah blah....... I think it is great to get clarity why we weren't chosen, in the form of a news story From there on, i wish him succes and don't really care.

Two more threads on premium as well....
