60,000 is alsomisleading. That would include Newark and Camden, part time evening students, grad students, medical school students. Back in the day undergrad day Students in NB was maybe 18,000. (Going back to the early 2000’s when I was doing enrollment reporting). I sure it’s more now, but still not 60,000.
That being said it was disappointing to see under 10 people in the student section last night

You're taking this much more seriously than I am. (I mean, really, the teams don't all play each other, and some of them have many more games against NJ teams than the others.)

But in fact, they all are D-I teams, all eligible for the NCAA D-I tournament, and all of them can have the same 15 (not 12) scholarships if they want. School size doesn't mean that much in basketball, which is why on the men's side Duke and Villanova can compete with the big state schools.
