It is officially the postseason, as No. 11 Rutgers wrestling competes at the 2025 Big Ten Wrestling Championships from March 8-9 in Evanston, Illinois. The program looks to send seven or more Scarlet Knights to the national tournament for the fourth consecutive season when wrestling begins on Saturday at Welsh-Ryan Arena.

I kinda love all of our guys on the bottom side of the bracket. Easier to make noise against 2/3/6 seeds than any matchup against a 1 seed.

Not sure why Dean stopped wrestling offensively in the 2nd. A win is a win but I was hoping we were going to see Dean the machine in this tournament and nationals. Hopefully he can turn that on.

I don’t mind it. You want it to be a little more comfortable but he was never getting put in danger by that guy and Peterson probably just conserved some energy. Tournaments are marathons.

I agree 100% that’s the right move early on assuming he’s able to flip that switch when the time comes. We’ve seen that be an issue in the past so that’s why there is a tiny bit of concern.

Oliveri was gassed at the end but held on 4-2. That stall call was complete bullsh*t.
Disagree. We have a habit of shutting it down late in matches. First move was back and he was trying to hold the lead in a 1 score match. Iowa wrestler moving forward the entire exchange.

Was it quick? Possibly, but it was obvious Joey was just trying to hold on.

He looked like he was sucking wind and I guess you're right he was backing up the entire 3rd so although it was quick when he got it he did deserve one.

Big age difference between Harer and Chumbley, but would have liked to see some shots and top game. He was a defensive wrestler in h.s. too (from what I saw at the PA states), so hopefully he can adjust.

WTF now no 3 for White. This fvcking refs a joke. Now the stupid I'm going to look at my own call review and really change my thinking.
