No. 3 Rutgers Women's Soccer vs. Buffalo / Sunday

Once again just who has posted that we didn't have a capable CB? I know I posted that Mason had a poor game against Buffalo especially in the 1st half. Poster named Luvscarletknights absolutely concurred with that assessment & was even more descriptive. Perhaps he should go back, review & refresh his memory.

I've posted that Mason was absolutely excellent back there last year & believe that she will be again this year. Adriana Kuryla played very well in Mason's place out in New Mexico. And I wouldn't be Surprised if frosh CB Naila Schoefberger proved to be a very good one as early as this year. Furthermore Sam Kroeger played OB for half of the Providence game & looked like she was born there. Betcha she could step into CB & do the same thing.

If posters refrain from misrepresenting what was said it will make for a more accurate & informed discussion. Facts do matter.

Empty barrels make the most noise seem appropriate in your case 78.
rudad and rich, I think everyone appreciates your game analysis. The issue I have with your critiques of Cassidy, in particular, is that it seems exaggerated relative to your overall analysis. Further, you both specifically seem to question her skill set, athletic ability/capabilities and that flies in the face of both internal (coaching staff) and external (Top Drawer Soccer, NCAA Coaches, etc) evaluation of her as a player. It comes across as personal. Doubt that is the case but just offering a reason you may be getting so much push back. Once again, appreciate both of your insights.

Fox, Kassidy is a lovely young lady from a great family. Nothing personal at all, & no one is rooting for her harder than I am.

You said "Massive Liability" does that not equate to Not Capable.

Freddy says she is "Not Good" does that not equate to Not Capable.

The kids are 18/19 years old....sheesh.

I guess I should have quoted verbatum and sorry for putting negative spins on those statements.

You are correct, I said that Banks was a massive liability. In as much that there are two CB that does not equate with not having a capable CB which I never said, & which you alleged that I had.
Don't get your point regarding negative spins on statements.

Luv, I know you are strong supporter of the RU Women as am I. What do you say we put this issue to bed & root for the Ladies to take it to Temple & for Kassidy to have a strong game.

Just left the temple game. 10 minutes left it was 6-0. Dominated. Temple is really bad though. Took care of business.

Just a note about tonight’s game - Rutgers out shot Temple 32-0.

That’s right, Temple had ZERO shots, period, and obviously no shots on goal either.

The cleanest of clean sheets.

Was going to ask also if they even got a shot off I left early also

And also the stats for this game. Of note, Riley Tiernan and Giana Romano are the only players to show up as top 5 players in the match for all 3 games Chris Henderson has highlighted of Rutgers (he usually highlights important matchups for context). Lowrey, Lynch, Brocious and Daigle have shown up in 2 of the 3.

I believe Allison Lynch was out the entire second half.
Before you ask I do t know
So you played a career center defender on the right side and Gianna romano( yes I know she is playing well ) on the left.
So conventional wisdom was to protect them and step back from the 8 girl attack.

there is, sometimes, a method to the madness
I originally noted that it appeared that Allison Lynch sat out the second half based on the box score at the time which had her playing 45 minutes and Naya Vialva playing the second half. The box score has now been corrected to show Allison Lynch playing the entire game. Sorry for the bad info.
