I honestly thought the last set of downs in the closing minutes Kemoko would have his time to shine.....but nope.....he got a penalty.....and was pulled....
Hamilton has never been an effective pass rusher in three years without creating confusion with the blitz
Throw in Some of Leach's mystifying decisions and I agree with this.
But the sad part is without the penalties and turnovers, our offense could easily have scored enough points to overcome our Defense's ineptness.
What a shame to waste Grant's heroics, 339 all purpose yards, a school record.
Well, I counted around 6 blitzes all game, guess what happened on those blitzes, five incompletions and one 4 yard gain.
BS. If it weren't for 3 turnovers and 2 penalties calling back touchdowns, WSU isn't in this game. Total yards close, we had the more balanced attack. We simply made mistakes, really big ones. Plus no blitzing, was head scratching .
Turay played a bit. Had a 15yd face mask and 5yd offside penalties and 1 sack from what I recall.
We made Falk look like a superstar. Hell any QB worth his weight would look great having 5 sometimes 7 seconds to throw the ball. Zappaa is right when we did blitz we sped up his clock and threw off his timing. The problem is we only blitz 6 times in 66 passes. That's not taking chances that's called playing prevent defense. Our D was so vanilla you had to know WSU would find the holes eventually. Hell standing on the sidelines I could here the old time letter winners yelling you've got to bring the pressure. But for some reason our DC couldn't figure that out.
