why does issa thiam seem like a solid get - cant find much on him.Seems like those guys over there knew something before anyone else lol. Anyway seems like a solid get.
OK BK so it looks like we will have a committ with a foreign kid (seems like everybody knows who he is ) but the bigger question is: Are you hearing any other irons in the fire regarding other recruits ? Isn't the NLI early signing period is coming up in Nov? I just hope we can keep the momentum going!Well..
The timing of it may be up for debate, but it was made clear to me that it was coming, with it also being suggested it would be sooner rather than later.
Best I can do sir!
BK
Ruman, gotta wonder if doorson/ diallo helped find this kis. From what i saw, he is defense minded, tall and possesses a decent shot for hos size. Under radar. Decent player with big upside.why does issa thiam seem like a solid get - cant find much on him.
I hope he's great, but he's a mystery man
-----------Anybody else see Alvydas when he first played an exhibition game at RU? I think he scored about 26 points, had a zillion rebounds, and I thought we had found the next Bill Walton. Didn't quite turn out that way. Saw him once a couple years after he graduated and chatted with him and he was a heck of a nice guy.
(And thank you, SirScarlet.)
Glad to hear that, BK. My fifteen minute chat with him at a game he went to after he graduated was really pleasant. Hope he's doing well. Great guy.You should see Alvydas today....he is cut from stone, looks like a mountain.
Such a great guy...remembers RU fondly
That was an awesome performance. I just remember him running the floor and dishing to people on the break. Bannon really failed with Tenys. People that hadn't been there for that exhibition game thought this guy was the typical big stiff but there was talent that was never developed. Should have been so much better.Anybody else see Alvydas when he first played an exhibition game at RU?
