Objectively speaking, we haven't improved...

There are folks thinking this is a recruiting fixes the problem and it's not.....the concepts on offense and personnel playing or lack of creativity is beyond recruiting or lack of talent.....The thought that an incoming recruit next year will have the career or productivity of a Janarion Grant, Robert Martin or others is bizarre to even approach that as the problem. We have talent, it's poorly coached and utilized.

We have a concept or coaching problem at OC and until that is repaired or replaced, recruiting won't matter one bit.....Penn State recruits at a much better clip across the board from RU and they have no idea what they are doing either with the best back in the conference with Saquon Barkley........at some point, we have to acknowledge or it would be foolish to think what we are watching is somehow OK or that recruiting or a different QB playing fixes everything.

RU has to do something on offense different.....a poor offensive team like Northwestern has 24 points at Iowa halfway through the 3rd quarter and we scored 7 vs Iowa....it's not talent folks, even most 1-AA or FBS teams can manage a few first downs and points.

I dint think I've ever disagreed with you more. The lack of talent is shining through. On ST's - other than Grant - all year - we've been awful. Now that injuries are hitting, due to the major lack of quality depth - that we've been discussing would happen for a couple of years now and reared its ugly head today - were seeing it hit the O and D now.

Recruiting makes coaches look great, and vice versa, but we're way behind the 8-ball on the recruiting side of things thanks to Fudd.

BTW (re: Northwestern) if not for our lousy QB we put up another 21 against Iowa last week

I'm a little torn. On the one hand, I can believe you and G-money. On the other hand, I can believe Urban Meyer and Tom Herman. So hard to choose...
Can't help but chuckle at this. Yeah, you have a point. Then again, Bill Walsh strongly endorsed Good Ol' Terry.

Couldn't agree more, for example, Schiano very much improved the recruiting, but never learned to adjust at half time, prepare
for first games of the year, prepare for coaches he never coached against, and except for Louisville could not win big games,
and had a below 500 regular season record after 11 years. and in his 10th year, could not beat an 0 and 11 last place team.
More talent doesn't always mean better coaching.

I am losing interest in this year's team. I suspect many others feel the same way. That's why I think attendance will be even worse for the rest of the year.

If Flood did not have that mess in 2015 he would have outperformed coach Ash (at this point in time). We needed a HC with head coaching experience, not coach Ash. At this point in time I would be playing some of the younger kids. If I were the AD I would be looking for Al Golden

What is this Al Golden sh*t?

It's trolling. Nobody legit thinks al golden would've been better than what we have.

Need to get to edge better pitch from Oden to Harris is a start. Fake rb in one direction pitch to opposite side. Why is this so difficult to implement? Show recruits some excitement on offense passes to a TE in the flat if caught gets 2 yds wtf . We fans watch a lot of college football doesn't our OC? We got lemons make some damn fun to watch lemonade....please.
