Official RU-PSU 2nd Half Thread

Last week we gave up 400+ in the air and over 300+ on the ground this week. Bring on OSU and MSU!

Not for nothing how about Laviano stop Hanging the WR's out to dry. Almost every throw is too high and not giving the guys a chance out there. Crazyyyyyyyyyy......

Will Wilson step up and make an actual QB evaluation this week to see if Laviano needs to be sat next game? This is D1 football, decisions need to be made on the best chance to win not individual feelings.

They haven't played to win since the first play.
you mean like running on 2nd and 10 down inside the 20 with the clock running at 11mins to go and down by 21? You didn't like us setting up the field goal attempt there? [eyeroll] Staff is weak...everything about Rutgers Football is pretty weak (x a few running backs and a couple of other guys)

our man Flood is the coach the other 6 days of the week. Laviano is your starter next week at home vs. Kansas.

Laviano has time in the pocket. On a lot of his sacks he's had 3-4 second. Just can't make his progressions and takes to long to throw.

This is what makes no sense - if Laviano is your starter, why the hell would he go back on the field down by 25 with a minute left? Wouldn't you use Rettig to avoid an injury?

Weren't people saying after week 1 that Rettig was the slower one in progressions and reads? Could he really be slower than what we saw tonight.

Rettig will transfer at the end of the season. Drop down, light it up, NFL.

Oh well we wanted these guys, we got them. We shut their passing game down. They were supposed to have a suck A$$ OL and we were supposed to stop their run because that's what we are built for, That didn't happen...... I'm wondering who had the sucky OL tonight.. It was't them.... This was an atrocity.....

On the positive. Lewis looked good today. Too bad we lose him next year though
Did he really look good? I have been seeing him miss plays in this game and previous games. I'll let the experts comment but from what I've seen he seems to let a lot of runs go by his gap.

I'm not saying he was perfect and you're right he missed some plays, but he showed some good vision and was able to track the ball carrier inside and outside on multiple plays. Definitely room to improve but in a game with not a lot of good things to talk about this probably one of the better ones.
