it's not even summer yet. Give him reps getting him comfortable catching the ball first. Then put defenders on him.He is strong and athletic but they should be having a 270lber banging him down low.
Washington Generals defense. And he never misses. He looks great against no defense
I love the in-season. It's the off season nonsense that gets tiresome.Nice little clip of him working out, but, of course, you guys need something to complain about. I guess this is how you guys get ready for the in-season bitching.
Not sure Rutgers can pay a private coach.I have not heard of mid range Mike but why is Rutgers not hiring the best big man guy in the area to train him. His skills and footwork especially have to be worked on day and night
There really are some miserable people here. They look for the negative in everything.Nice little clip of him working out, but, of course, you guys need something to complain about. I guess this is how you guys get ready for the in-season bitching.
Doesn’t need to be shooting from the foul line.I like the use of the left hand. Dont like his feet not setting on his foul line shot
Look again. He’s moving to his left when he receives the pass, he sets his feet for the jump shot, then his momentum carries him slightly forward and to the left after releasing the ball.I like the use of the left hand. Dont like his feet not setting on his foul line shot
Their hands never miss.....................the keyboard!!Nice little clip of him working out, but, of course, you guys need something to complain about. I guess this is how you guys get ready for the in-season bitching.
And he made every shot. Against some pretty tough D.Look again. He’s moving to his left when he receives the pass, he sets his feet for the jump shot, then his momentum carries him slightly forward and to the left after releasing the ball.
Guys his size quite often take only set shots from that distance. I was impressed that he had the coordination and nimbleness to take a jumper there, while on the move, with a nice high release.
Also liked how he caught the lob below the rim and brought it above the rim while in mid air for the dunk. He is fluid in all his movements.
Yes. Momentum should not carry you.Look again. He’s moving to his left when he receives the pass, he sets his feet for the jump shot, then his momentum carries him slightly forward and to the left after releasing the ball.

Based on this I see him at 18 a game next year. 65% from the floor. And he made every shot. Against some pretty tough D.
I always wonder who falls for these dumb clips. Now I know 😂Nice little clip of him working out, but, of course, you guys need something to complain about. I guess this is how you guys get ready for the in-season bitching.
Nobody’s “falling for” anything. We’ve already seen Ogbole play against B1G competition. We know what his weaknesses are and also what he’s capable of achieving for us.I always wonder who falls for these dumb clips. Now I know 😂
He's huge and athletic so there's no reason not to be optimistic and realistic at the same time. I hope he learns a free throw technique that will put him above 50% from the charity stripe.I always wonder who falls for these dumb clips. Now I know 😂
Big Man Bart was already booked . . . 😉I have not heard of mid range Mike but why is Rutgers not hiring the best big man guy in the area to train him. His skills and footwork especially have to be worked on day and night
We can agree on that much. Working is the only answer.Nice clip…this is the only way to get better! Putting in work! I’ll take it.
Other then his hands (which is a big thing) I was pretty impressed with EO last year.
He had better feet then I thought he would have and his touch was pretty good around the rim.
Defensively he did a pretty good job. The man is physically a freak.
I for one, loved Cliff as an RU player but it was time to move on.
He was great until he thought about what he had to do to become an NBA player.
When he was catching lobs and dunking he was effective. As soon as he tried to do anything else, he was ineffective at best. He couldn't finish, pass or dribble at a level that could help us.
Lathan should be a better passer in the offense and will hopefully rebound well too.
EO can give us minutes and hopefully add physicality
Martini can fill in at times also at the 5
Cliff was regressing here, no reason to think it would have changed.
It might end up better for both him and us in the long run.
I would obviously take Cliff on this team but I really think we will miss Gavin more when things play out.
We are looking for a shooter now with some urgency it seems.
How excited would we be to land an athletic 6'8'' former top 30 transfer that struggled a bit as a freshman but showed flashes of being a top player?
He's definitely an interesting part of the equation. It's not killing him to point out his biggest weakness from last season was his hands. He is a massive, athletic big man. Clean up the hands and he could be just what we've all been saying this team needs at the 5.
Liked everything you said but I disagree GG showed flashes last year of being a top player. Not by a mile. Disappointing in every aspect of the game.Other then his hands (which is a big thing) I was pretty impressed with EO last year.
