I disagree somewhat with NJH here, but I don't think he said Eugene had a bad game.

I am not disagreeing with what Hawk DIDN'T say about Gene, I am disagreeing with what he said.

Gene played GREAT. On a team with some issues on offense, Gene was really efficient on offense - scoring and passing and drawing fouls. It is kinda obvious.

I like reading Hawk, but this time I think he is overthinking it. Gene was responsible for a lot of scoring.

Have mixed emotions here - Eugene was great. Hawk's point to a degree is that in order for the offense to be productive it needs more balance. Early in the season against weaker opponents there was a lot of "sharing" of the ball and RU offense looked cohesive.

I do not believe this game is indicative of anything - as OSU played its best game so far in conference. If we had played our best game (my opinion) it would have been a heart breaker for RU. We had no answer for Wesson inside or outside. Wesson should have been called for the hook that was called on miles - he intentionally put his are in their (miles actually had position for the rebound). It was that kind of game.

OT point that you raise....

The hook and hold is ridiculous and how long is it going to take for players to learn and possibly be taught how to get themselves hooked and held.

The play you referenced the 2 players were like a pretzel with an equal amount of hook and hold.

agree...and you have Thiam who provides zero and you have Doucoure who is taking up a roster spot on the bench..we already have a transfer sitting on the bench taking a spot up. So when guys like Geo/mathis do not score I mean who will, Doorson/Myles/Shaq combo do not have any consistency to be legit scoring threats.
Surprised bac slipped this post by the board police
