Having spent the majority of the few months being quietly confident or sure that this program was on the right track, it is "now what"....
Today is a milestone of 41 years without being ranked but it does require some point of "what happens next....??
To take inventory and provide writers/readers near and far with something to consider. Rewind the tape 1 year ago.
Fast forward, 1 year later and since starting 1-6 at this time last year, RU finished 7-13, lost in the B1G tourney.....and in league games so far this year, has started 5-2.
Since the 1-6 start from 1 year ago today, RU is 4-6 in B1G road/neutral games. Not great, but not to be ignored either....
Since the 1-6 start 1 year ago today, RU is 11-10 in their last 21 B1G contests. Overall, something that many would not realize.
So there is now an actual "next year", because of the last year from MLK Day 2019, to MLK Day 2020.....next year started 1 year ago today....
I think considering the process that's taken place, I am not quite sure where this programs floor is OR where it's ceiling is. But for the 1st time, next year is NOW, and looks like next year has more of the same steps forward.
Where can we go from MLK Day 2020 to MLK Day 2021....while riding the wave folks.....!!!.....nothing has been accomplished but in the bigger picture, we have done a lot in a year's time.
