Olakunle fatukasi tweet

They're taking visits - looking to find better. I think we all realize this
Again not necessarily. See my post on the prior page. Maybe he is looking for a "better find," as you stated. However, maybe he feels good about Rutgers and feels like this is where he wants to be but just wants to do his due diligence in making the decision. It also could be that he is looking around at other 17 year old kids his age, seeing them have a blast on their officials, and wanting to partake in the experience.

None of us know for certain how this will play out, but this is common in recruiting today. Like I said, Ash and co. Just need to keep working to keep him committed.

Oh my Sweet Summer Child.
Haha, I can see why you would think I'm naive in this instance, and maybe I am to some extent based on the way recruiting has gone the past few years for is. However, there is a new staff and new approach to recruiting, and therefore, I don't think that this necessarily means ru commits taking OV's elsewhere will automatically not end up at Rutgers. Assitionally, we just hosted a kid committed elsewhere on an official. Does not mean he is coming here. This is recruiting in 2016.

I'll admit that the tweet doesn't make me feel great, but I'm Not going to try and analyze
exactly what a kid is thinking based on the tweet.

How can you make either of those statements as if they are facts? Nobody KNOWS we will be better next year. The schedule doesn't get any easier, we're graduating what's left of our last best recruiting classes, and right now it looks like two more recruits are looking around. And how are we a better all-around program than Maryland? What exactly have we done to be able to make that claim? We're in the same conference, they have a better history, including Orange/Peach/Gator bowl appearances, and their coach is on his way to signing a top-25 class.

EDIT: One of the recruiting services now has Fatukasi listed as a "soft" verbal to us, for whatever that's worth.
Were already his 2 commitment...didn't he commit to UCONN previous to us?

Said it before and I'll say it 1000 more times:

No way in HELL I wouldn't take all of my visits EVEN IF I had already verballed and knew that I wasn't changing my decision. No chance. Free trips to schools, around the country, for a weekend? Parties, girls, and more girls? Uhm, yeah sure, I'll just sit home instead lol!

I would too, but why the hell don't you take these OVs first, THEN commit??!

Do you think kids committed to Alabama who visit elsewhere are looking to find better?

It's a free trip to see a part of the country you've never been, either with beautiful weather, or girls, or history. I wish someone would've offered me that at 18
