OMG WE CAN BREAK A PRESS!!!!

Yup... I will never forget that 05 Syracuse game when we blew the 20 point lead because we couldnt break the press. So refreshing to see it.

One of the most depressing halves of basketball I've ever watched. I'd rather get blown out by 60 then go through anything like that again.

You know what stat I really liked tonite?

23-29 FT's. 79.3% You're going to win some close games if you can hit 75+%. It seems to be a lost art.

Agreed. Great rebounding, defense and FTs win games, especially on the road. We haven't seen that combo in quite a while.

I can't even recall the last time we had a Rutgers team that shot nearly 80% from the free throw line. Nigel, needs to focus more and knock down more of his FT's. He was a bit sloppy at the end of the game. Still, I'm loving this team so far as well Pikiell and staff.

Last night's game was fun to watch, what a difference from last year.

Yes Nigel was only 3-7 and missed 4 of 5 in the end game. We hit 21 of our first 22 in the game. We were up by 22 until Cain went crazy hitting 3's and Nigel began missing free throws. We need Corey and Nigel to both hit well from the foul line as they are our primary ball handlers.
