Obviously I am very proud of all of our kids on the team who have stayed out of trouble and done the right things but one in particular who I am close with is Mr Zack Heeman. Although he is an underclassman, I hope he is talking with the team about playing through adversity, as he is someone who knows a little bit about that.
Some of you may know his story, some may not, but this kid is the epitome of a Rutgers man. He played the day after losing his brother to help his high school team. For someone who had everything going against him and so much negativity in his life, he persevered and became the young man he is today.
I'll take this kid over any 4* prospect who has the ability to do the things those 5 players have done off the field.
