Same age as my father. On Nov. 4th this year my father will be gone for 25 years.

For sure. Just a great voice and host. I remember him most from Knicks games on MSG.

Almost as sad as Rizutto passing for me. He was the voice for Yankees & Knicks game in my youth. I vividly remember being amazed that he was an Olympic announcer in 92 (maybe). I couldnt believe the same guy who was calling Kevin Maas moon shots was also at the Olympics. He reached legend status IMO from his Cool Runnings appearance.
