OT: Best restaurant by NJ county

Give me a NJ county and the best restaurant or eating establishment (any type of food) in that county.

Meaning from a Culinary or "Review" standpoint?

I'll offer two from Somerset (fine dining)

Pluckemin Inn - Pluckemin
Ninety Acres - Peapack

For Essex County I'll go with LuNello's in Cedar Grove. Superb Italian, and seasonal specialties. Prices a little on the high side, but it's fancy with great food and great service.

And a ton of attitude if you are someone 'off the street'.
But yes great food.

Gloucester County= Nino Gervasi/Arugula
Camden County= Zepoli/Capital Grille
Burlington County= Osteria (moved back to Philly)
Salem= Dipaolo's is friggin awesome@

Cape May - Washington Inn or Ebbitt Room (for breakfast it's the Mad Batter)
Essex - Fascino (love me my BYOs)
Middlesex - Frog And The Peach

Pluckemin Inn not so much.

90 Acres, best in the State. Maybe best Restaurant I have ever patronized.

Somerset County- 90 Acres

If you ever go and enjoy a varied dining experience,"Bring me Food" is really good. It's several small courses based on a seasonal menu. It's not cheap especially with wine pairings but my wife and I enjoy it 1-2x a year.

Hunterdon County- there are a bunch of good ones. Ryland Inn is good. Tenderhill in Whitehouse Station is new. It's run by a guy who worked at Per Se in NYC. They grow their own vegetables, change the menu often and serve great food.

- 1/2 lb thick sliced pork roll
- 1/4 lb yellow American cheese
- 8" Hoagie Roll (IIRC)
- 3:30 in microwave

...goodbye hangover!
MV Deli and Greasy Tony's, as well as that pizza place near the Melody, prevented a number of nasty hangovers.

But, I digress.

In Sussex I would take Tanti Baci or the Lafayette House.

union county - Garlic Rose Cranford
middlesex county - Catherine Lombardi New Brunswick
Somerset county - Water and Wine Watchung

monmouth - way too many to list
cape may - The Lobster House and that Chinese/Japanese place by the church.. can't remember the name of it

Monmouth - Restaurant Nicholas. I've eaten in the regular restaurant, and we also splurged on the private chef's table. ($300/couple)
The best meal I've ever had
