Seems very serious. Cops and an ambulance were called...very uncommon, even for for a serious leg injury..
Either an abundance of caution, or worse than a ligament tear, it seems.
Lots of speculation it may be an artery injury too. Yikes!! Was taken to a level 1 trauma center, per twitter.
Teddy has a second leg. He's shown us very clearly that he doesn't need two legs to be victorious.

I'm seeing snippets about the ACL tear and while the reported reactions of players would indicate a compound fracture or something else gruesome, I haven't seen compound fracture reported anywhere yet.

The nature of the injury was not immediately clear. Bridgewater was still on the practice field grass as the team's PR staff ushered reporters from the premises."

Sure he broke our hearts (so, too, did that bogus ineligible receiver call). But I admired him greatly. He's done better than I thought in the NFL. I had him on my third all-opponent team behind Derek Carr and Blake Bortles.
Not a compound fracture, but a dislocated knee and ACL tear. No nerve or artery damage.

Knowing your season in a matter of 2 seconds just became worthless and you are playing for a paycheck. Nothing more.
Horrible news. At least he has a teammate that has gone through the whole thing, so hopefully he can lean on him for advice and support. The good thing for his recovery is that he's young, only 23, so if he puts in the time he should be 100% and ready-to-go next summer.
