NJHAWK said he’s not a difference maker, not that good LOL
And Simpson and Noah can create their own shot and that is what we need….. LOL

The only thing he has to be loyal to is his wallet.
x1000. And now with no consistent perimeter scorers on this team, and no inside game either, all we’ve got is a slashing guard mid-range shooting shitshow. He's UConn's best player. Not best prospect, but best player. He'd be our best ball handler, best 3 PT shooter, best FT shooter, best rebounding guard, best steal guy.
Putting on a show at the Garden against the Johnnies. Boy do I miss him.
I’m not starting the basketball departure list with Dean Reiber.who left the football program.
As for Cam, he committed to Loyola of Maryland out of High School , then on to RU for a year before moving on to UConn.
He is the new breed of mercenary that jumps to where he thinks it's best for him.
As for feeder program???
My opinion is : RU MBB is a taker more than a feeder when it comes to the comings and goings of its players
That’s the problem. We have to get to a point where it’s in proven player’s best interest to stay. It’s amusing some of the nudnicks here who thought Spencer’s departure is no big deal.He made a wise decision for himself.
We need significantly better. When teams like Coastal Carolina and JMU, the last couple of years, have better QBs than us we are not getting it done in the portal. Not this season with football… what we lost we came in with better.

Felt? He nailed it!Cam is a good player and Rutgers misses his talent.
But Spencer is a mercenary that takes his talent to where it will benefit him best.
Nothing wrong with that.
Consider him a rental, just like so many other college players are today, that felt he'd get a better deal by leaving RU than if he stayed
Not to mention how enjoyable it was to watch him play the game. Most just think about the scoring. When my wife picks out a guy you know he's special. That’s the problem. We have to get to a point where it’s in proven player’s best interest to stay. It’s amusing some of the nudnicks here who thought Spencer’s departure is no big deal.
False. The transfer portal launched in 2018, Yeboah transferred in May of 2019.Those were prior to the portal and needed to sit out a year. We also lost Myles and Eugene via transfer back then.
He’s an idiotFalse. The transfer portal launched in 2018, Yeboah transferred in May of 2019.
So I got the dates wrong. Makes me an idiot? Go f**k yourselfHe’s an idiot
I would love to see those teams against our schedule this past year. Stats would be paltry at best.We need significantly better. When teams like Coastal Carolina and JMU, the last couple of years, have better QBs than us we are not getting it done in the portal.
lol relax buddy. So I got the dates wrong. Makes me an idiot? Go f**k yourself
We’re talking players, not teams.I would love to see those teams against our schedule this past year. Stats would be paltry at best.
Let’s start with our offensive linemen who left for Ohio State and Missouri, who became all-conference players for their adopted teams.who left the football program.

Are you saying he cost us a tournament bid last year? He's a great player for sure and only made one mistake that I noticed all season last year. It cost us the Minnesota game and the tournament but he did so many good things that won a lot of games for us too. His greatest asset is he doesn't get rattled and he takes like 10000 - 3 pointers every week as practice.
LOL...that's what I said to him after he called me Numbskull last week.So I got the dates wrong. Makes me an idiot? Go f**k yourself
Are you saying he cost us a tournament bid last year?
Interesting 🤔In the last 2:32 vs Minnesota he had 2 TOs and missed a critical FT.
Interesting 🤔
For the record, your position is Cam Spenser is the reason we did not get a tournament bid?
Is that right?
Anyone who said he slow STFU
Anyone who said he was not our best transfer STFU
Anyone who said our guard play was keeping us down STFU
Anyone who said he was not a P5 D1 bball STFU
You know who you are, we know who you are .
You could not have been more glaringly wrong.
Your post and opinions on bball are a joke.
We don’t want to hear what you have to say.
You are either clueless, or have some sort of agenda.
NiceMost of us didn't say any of that, however it seems you have some major anger issues regarding a forum that is pretty much comprised of non-insider overly emotional fan opinions and projections.
The great news for you is that I'm sure you can find UConn games on TV replay somewhere in the interwebs and focus obsessively on his play while jerking off to what might have been had he stayed at RU.
Yes Ohio State and you can’t blame him at the time … who was the Missouri guy?Let’s start with our offensive linemen who left for Ohio State and Missouri, who became all-conference players for their adopted teams.
I would love to see those teams against our schedule this past year. Stats would be paltry at best.
RidiculousAt this point we are football and basketball feeder programs.
I thought you might be referring to his defense on the game winning shot... I guess he went for the steal, which left Battle open for a second, and then ended up getting faked out of his jock in a desperate attempt to block the shot... But you can't say he didn't try...In the last 2:32 vs Minnesota he had 2 TOs and missed a critical FT.
Jonah Jackson and Mike Maietti were both grad transfers in 2019. Both did well after spending 4 years at Rutgers… Schiano was just returning to Rutgers so I’m not convinced (by some posters who show up every so often ) that we are a feeder school. In todays college football world we see the reason why the B1G and SEC are threatening the NCAA’s hold on the $$$$Maietti
You have to count Jackson and Maietti. They bailed on us. So how would you rate our transfer portal success versus others in the Big Ten when it comes to hoops and football?Jonah Jackson and Mike Maietti were both grad transfers in 2019. No the reason is not because of Schiano… it was because of the 5 years of Flood and Ash… The name of the game is not so much winning but NIL $$$$. Our staff is quickly gaining wide respect . Schiano has proven he can put guys into the NFL… the problem of lack of facilities is being corrected. Rutgers is more different than it ever was in my time there. You have to count Jackson and Maietti. They bailed on us. So how would you rate our transfer portal success versus others in the Big Ten when it comes to hoops and football?
I said before here some “ Rutgers” posters look at things in a one sided way… always seem to leave the important things out like players who did transfer here and under Schiano. This is our year if either of the QB’s takes the next step. Some who arrived from other programs need to be counted as well as the loses.
To name a few old and new :
Michael Dwumfour, Brendan White, Aron Cruickshank, Sean Ryan, Christian Braswell, Tre Avery, Aaron Lewis , Noah Vedral and “Flip” Dixon.
The Minnesotan QB coming in might be a plus, but until he proves that he's just another addition..Naseim Brantley is another one that transferred in that might be a good pick up
Eric Rodgers might prove himself in 2024 after playing in all 13 games last year .
But in today's basketball transfer environment, every program can be considered a feeder school and mercenaries like Cam as much of the landscape as those who who stay their full eligibility.
Also some who leave as grad transfers do it because of academics, thinking of life after basketball as much as going to other programs because of that program might help them make the pros better than the one they left .
