OT: Chiefs/Dolphins will be a chilly one

I'm surprised the NFL isn't postponing the Chiefs/Dolphins game because of ........... weather.

Logically this game COULD have been moved to 1pm tomorrow now that the Bills game got banged to Monday.

But this is the NFL and The Cock & NBC and Swifties so fans in attendance?? Sorry bout your damn luck.

Maybe Taylor should sit amongst the common folk - she’s a big fan after all.

It's going to be -3 at 1pm tomorrow in KC. Not sure if that's much warmer lol

I was at Shea Stadium to watch the Jets play the win less Saints (Aints) back in the day. Colder than the proverbial witch's tit. All I can really remember when was when, presumably, a Jets fan ripped a pay phone off the wall in one of the upper decks and threw it over the side. It came crashing down not too far from us and literally exploded into millions of tiny pieces. Thankfully, it landed between the rows of seats. Jets lost.

Wind chill was 59 below. I can't even imagine that.

I clearly remember that game (as well as the “Ice Bowl”) and it was ridiculous. San Diego had a great offensive passing team, but they had no chance in that game. The absurd frigid temps with the strong wind made a passing offense a non factor. Interestingly, San Diego won an OT playoff game in Miami the week before with temps in the 80s . The difference in tempature over 1 week was like 100+ degrees in feel.

Sounds like this was the game, 31 degrees but wind chills of 18 and I'm sure it felt colder than there at Shea:

Saints only played two games at Shea, the other was early 70's and it was 48 degrees.

Pacheco slicing through the Dolphins defense! Love watching this guy. I love the cold, but I think I'd at least be wearing long sleeves, lol.

Many Chiefs fans who suffered frostbite at bitter cold playoff game need amputations

Is that a Babylon Bee article? 70% need amputations? My god how society has gone soft. I thought Chief/Midwest/Great Plains fans were tough. I don't recall Cincinnati or Green Bay playoff fans with similar issues. We have the best technology now to stay warm.
