Mojo Nixon's death was sad - had just been listening to his show on the Outlaw Country channel on SXM a few hours before he died. Not a fan of Firehouse at all. Loved fIREHOSE, though, who formed from the remnants of early 80s California punk legends MINUTEMEN.

At least Mojo Nixon died doing what he loved. He was on a music cruise and had just performed. He never seemed to take himself or anything too seriously. It's a blissful way to go through life, even if it ends too early.
