OT: concessions ran out of water

I walked up to the gate with a small cloth cooler with ice and sealed water bottles. At first the guy started to say you can't bring that in but I said its 100 degree heat index and I guarantee they'll run out of water. He let me go. Sure enough by halftime they were out of water in the upper deck concession by me. They restocked later in the 4th quarter but that's nonsense. I stopped to talk to the same guard while leaving and thanked him for his common sense, telling him they ran out of water like I knew they would. Lots of people left due to the heat, many might not have if they were more open about bringing in water. Or, if they can't come to terms with letting people bring in sealed water bottles, set up coolers with water like they do in Palm Desert resorts.

They let me in with the cooler. I've been doing it for years. My point was that many people think you can't bring in water so they don't do it, then concessions run out. Too hot for that.

Did not see one vendor in our area either.
The Mickey Mouse operations never cease to amaze me at HPSS.
Will bring in more bottles of my own next week.
