Anyone watching the boxing? Live on HBO now. I love watching this guy... nothing more entertaining right now. He absolutely destroys people.

Wake me up when he faces a real opponent.

But if youre a casual fan and you would like to watch a man demolish someone who is 2 weight classes smaller than him, then yes, you might find this fight entertaining.

This is a perplexing comment. Casual fans are the ones waiting for a Canelo Alvarez fight that won't happen for another 4 years, if ever.

Boxing fans watch boxing. Certainly, I watch the most entertaining and exciting boxer in the sport right now. He is the top rated middleweight, holds 3 belts, and is somewhere around the #5 p4p fighter in the world. 36-0 with 36 KO's. I would tune in to watch this guy fight anyone.

Of course his opponent tonight was overmatched. That's what happens in boxing, when you can't get anyone to fight you. I've been watching boxing a long time...I have never seen a fighter have as hard of a time finding opponents as GGG does. That said, did you not consider Geale or Lemiux real opponents? Because he has basically cleaned up the middleweight division. The only people left are those that refuse to fight him.

I'm with the OP, OC. GGG straight fun to watch.

CFB all night, but will catch this on HBO on demand.

You can say that about all boxing divisions these days.

Seriously. There are no stacked divisions right now. And with the rules (and expectations) the way they are, the top fighters won't fight each other. The two most exciting fights you could make won't happen now or any time soon. Canelo won't fight GGG at middleweight, despite being the bigger fighter. Stevenson may never fight Kovalev due to the TV contracts.

Unfortunately, GGG is a true middleweight in a weak division. So we are watching a guy who has the chops to be an all-time great with no one to fight. Its actually sad. He simply doesn't have the size to go to light heavy. Hopefully Canelo's PPV tanks next weekend-- maybe he will have to man up then.

At least they made the Kovalev/Ward fight. I am really looking forward to that. The big fight of the fall.
