Hilarious. Lamp at the fat farm episode. The guest appearances by people like Howard Cosell, Monte Hall, Booby Riggs, and many others put the show way over the top. And Al Molinaro was awesome as Murray the cop.

Agree. They had Roy Clark, of Hee Haw fame, on once. Did an acoustic piece that was absolutely amazing.

Television likes and dislikes is obviously a very personal thing. For whatever it's worth, I also really hated most of the stuff that was hugely popular in the 70s - "Happy Days", "Laverne and Shirley", "Welcome Back Kotter"...

Loved "All in the Family", though.

I liked "Sanford and Son", but didn't care for "Good Times". Or "Chico and the Man", for that matter... although Jack Albertson was an undeniable talent in anything he did.

The episode with Deacon Jones was just on. Did not realize he coined the term "sack" for sacking the QB.
