Affiliate members make sense for these sports. I would love to see them do the same for ice hockey.

Agreed, although ice hockey would be tougher. This was a wise move for both the Big Ten and JHU to bring all of JHU's D-1 sports under one roof.

Before Penn State went to D1 Hockey. B1G considered adding UND or Cornell as affiliate members for Ice Hockey.
