RU up 2-0 on an extra man goal. They took one away from us on a moving pick. We look sharp. D looks to be matching up well early, Alleyne in the goal for the start.
 
took another way on a crease violation which was a clear push. Our D looks locked in so far.
 
Defense has been great. Stony Brook moved the ball well at times but couldn't get any good looks. Offense looks to be its usual self, could easily be 5-0. Trasolini, Bieda and Charlambides are something else.
 
That was a garbage goal they had. We also hit two pipes. Could easily be 5 or 6 to 1.

I like how we match up with this team. They are having a hard time breaking us down individually, and in the open field we are faster and more athletic.

Broken play for their goal. That looks like the only way they are going to score. Would like to have seen the groundball picked up prior to that.

Jules would want that last shot back. He had the goalie dead to rights when he found the shorty on him.
 
A third disallowed goal...another crease violation. Ugh.
 
So. I turned this game on at 2-0. They have looked completely confused since that point in time. Its like there is a turf issue. Our guys have fallen down like 4 times...including that last disaster on defense.
 
5-3 Stony Brook, need to get to the half and regroup.
 
SB calls a timeout with 1:12 left. Need to hold them here.

There is something going on with this turf, and its giving us problems. We keep falling down, and haven't cleanly fielded anything. All the GBs get chased halfway across the field.
 
Defense leaves a huge opening which leads to a SB goal. 6-4. Jeez
 
This is hard to watch. We look foolish. Cant stop anything on defense, and cannot penetrate on offense.
 
Charlambides goal to break the run. 8-5 with 7 minutes left in the 3rd. Some life.
 
Alleyne is not seeing the ball well. That's two he should have had, one of which was stick side.

We are out of sorts. Need to get 10 goals. They don't lose when they hold teams under 10.

We are due for a run. Let's hope that was the start of it.
