Would we prefer that Notre Dame get it instead? I don't care or am bothered by it and dont see why anyone would be. If POOP Inc. paid twice as much for their brand to michigan they would take that deal too, its all about the money. Seems to me anything Michigan does bothers people, which gets them talked about constantly and then gives them exposure. Thats a win for Khaki Pants and his school.

The differences in the actual uniform is the maize is slightly brighter, like it was before Adidas took over. Also the chinstraps and the little panel with block M that holds the top of the facemask is now blue instead of white. The helmets are also satin.

The concept is basically the exact same which is why I can't get over how much better the new uniforms actually look despite being the same mostly;

Michigan. I was just making a joke because someone else said they should change the logo so that it depicts a football player reaching for a ball, so I posted a picture of Kemoko Turay reaching to block the field goal against Michigan.

Really though, these jerseys are nearly identical to the old ones. I don't understand the lovefest. The uniforms look very good, but it's essentially the same uniform as last season.

I generally don't get into all this hoopla over silly logos & such. Apparently it was a crazy scene in Ann Arbor Sunday night. Some people were lined up for over 13 hours prior to the midnight release of the Nike/Jordan Michigan gear!

Massive crowds just to purchase t-shirts & hats & stuff.
I....just....don't....understand such behavior.

It was a huge event, with Harbaugh and many players past & present making an appearance Sunday evening.

I don't care about all that crap... I just want football season to begin!



That being said, I admit to liking the new Michael Jordan football helmets in the matte/satin finish:
