The Notre Dame Cathedral is one of the most famous churches in the world located in Paris, France visited by millions of tourists.

This is horrible. Spent some time in Paris in the early 2000s. It was a beautiful cathedral

How did the fire start?

My wife, son & I visited Paris and Notre Dame in 2002. I am very sad as Notre Dame is one of the most magnificent cathedrals in the entire world. The church held the original crown of thorns that Jesus wore and had many other relics and the stained glass windows were so beautiful. I just hope that some of these relics can survive this fire. It is just such a sad time to me.
