OT: Orange Bowl - Peppers Will Not Play

Ya have to wonder how much of his decision is "There's no way I can go" as opposed to "I don't want to injure it before Combine".

Faking an injury after Orange Bowl warmups? Glad to see I wasn't the first to come up with that conclusion.

Guess what, NFL teams: he'll quit on you, too.

Griese just said he practiced Tuesday and he was fine. Obviously they didn't practice hard yesterday. Doubt hey hit or went hard Wednesday as well.
But the ESPN guys didn't mention that peppers purposely faking an injury and sitting is even a possibility.

Nagging draftstring injury.

That's because they were blowing his nut sack all season. No way they're going to turn on their golden boy now. I'm sure they had the Pep-O-Meter all ready to go.

That's one way to sit out of his last college game after seeing everyone complain about mccaffery and Fournette last week.

I'm so glad this happened. If I were a Michigan fan, I'd be livid.

It's like finding an extra Christmas gift under the tree.

Adam Schefter reports on college football now? ESPN are spinning this more than a spinning top.

We are doing a drinking game, shot every time they mention his name and he isnt even playing. Two mentions in final minute of Q1

lol, my son and I came back from dinner at the start of the 3Q and we put the game on; went upstairs for 10-15 min to check on the wife (under the weather) and came back downstairs and the first thing he (he's 22 years old and not a huge football fan) says is, "who the f*ck is this Peppers dude? If they mention him one more time I'm going to shoot myself in the head." I laughed really hard, as I had read this thread earlier.

So we are now questioning a player who is hurt, unbelievable.

Have you seen a practice the day before a game? There are a few teams who might to it a little different, but they are basically glorified walk throughs. For Peppers to have pulled his hammy yesterday, he would have essentially had to have done that during a light jog. at worst. Possible I guess, but not likely.
