There is literally ZERO ways that there are toxicology results back yet.
The press has said "no drugs were found" as in there weren't pills on the floor or lines of coke on the edge of the Jacuzzi.
There's a reason I have that guy on block.
I can always count on this board for judgmental hot takes on a tragic end of life. Because all the posters have experienced fame and fortune at a young age and handled it gracefully.

Keith screwed himself up, but might have extended his life somewhat now with that now
Just telling what was posted… Actually , I could care little if it’s drugs or not. Sure autopsy takes several weeks but it appeared in the initial reporting there did not appear to be drugs involved .The fact is he more than likely had a heart attack based upon his past cardio vascular issues, blown out colon and lord knows what else. Instead of these fake feelings like he was a personal friend or family member realize in basic terms ( his) he was an addict/ alikie.There are thousands of Matthew Perry’s out on the streets and it appears many around the world don’t care either way.
He never overcame his addictions … once an addict always an addict. Or perhaps you should go back to re-educate yourself about it. We seem to love our drugs in the USA over the basic need for life .

The addiction problem he had was using drugs, overcoming that problem was stopping using drugs.

He took the oxcy and never told the surgeon and anesthesiologist prior to being put under. It’s scary enough going under so he just did what he normally was doing.

All I know is he was an addicted person who loved drugs over life and yes I have read his history more than once.I look at the entire issue from his disjointed early life with family. He sought an outlet but drugs were his escape route. We have millions upon millions who abuse drugs. Take a look for a peek at Kensington Ave. Philadelphia Pa.drug market. Is it sad ? No it’s sick. That’s more likely to have been the reason for Perry’s death. It seems some want to see a positive toxicology report. And if he were playing pickle ball … was he cleared by his cardiologist. I didn’t say he was a” practicing addict”… Perry WAS an addict totally and without question . So get your facts straight.
No society is collapsing because we have turned a blind eye to what has been going on for 50-60
years now. Society… as our founders desired and hoped would persevere has been allowed to be infiltrated just as many suspected it would be someday. Drugs is part of that collapse… all one needs to do is witness around the globe countries and states which condone it’s usages outside on its city streets.

A practicing addict is one that is still using drugs.
A recovered addict is one that isn't using anymore.
Addicts are always one step away from relapse but those that are considered recovered addicts fight that temptation and succeed in remaining clean

Just like you heard his autopsy and the toxicology report was published and stated he came out clean Then tried to whitewash that misinformation with some BS so you didn't have to admit you made a mistake.

As for me, if someone tells me I'm wrong ( not you) I will admit I erroneously considered someone who stopped using drugs as a recovered addict , but not totally free of the desire , just like an alcoholic can be considered a recovered drunk when that person has given up drinking and has stopped for a long time.

So Perry you claim was a recovered addict ok … that's your take on his issues. My pronouncement is he was an addict, and the reality is addicts never fully recover. There are hundreds of dead people who claimed sobriety but still were addicts. The facts are simple …he destroyed his life . Perry had the world by the balls. Funny how we hear the same sob stories from these recovering addicts over and over and over.Stop feeling sorry and making excuses for them. You reap what ye sow.

1- just clarifying that the autopsy/toxicology reports are not back yet as we’ve said since last night.
2- it’s been reported that the prescription meds found were anti depressants, anti anxiety and COPD meds. They could easily be a factor in the death, or not. Thus the inconclusive autopsy, pending toxicology.
And yet it started a bunch of crap because you questioned where I read that. You and several others are so Matthew Perry concerned that you lose the real reason for his death. I give a damn about his passing maybe more than most . Some of us have children that age. Maybe not addicted to substances but it hits home some of these posters are nowhere near his age.
